The creation declares the Glory of God!
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
All secular scientist (along with many of the theist) all agree, the universe started 13.7 Billion years ago at a singularity, (a infinitely small point where both space and time expanded into existence in a high energy event).
1) Anything that begins to exist, needs a cause. (True)
2) The universe began to exist. (True)
3) Therefore the universe had a cause. (True)
a) The two types of causes that are possible are "events/things", or Persons. (True)
b)The cause cannot be a "thing" or event" since no"thing" existed yet. (True)
:. The Universe was therefore caused by a non-physical Person. (TRUE)
Remember, in this argument, only things that "began" to exist need a cause. This is a sound argument and is called the cosmological argument. If the universe was shown to always exist, then this argument would not work. (I can prove the universe began to exist without using science but science backs it up).
